WEHO Magazine's (www.wehomagazine.com) mission is to bring a new type of publication to West Hollywood – one which incorporates all lifestyles and highlights the best of this extraordinary city. Hipper than Beverly Hills and more affluent than Hollywood. WEHO attracts a certain caliber of person.
WEHO Magazine made this a charitable evening, with the joint efforts of Gaudy Public Relations (www.gaudypr.com), Cobalt Events (www.cobaltevents.com), & Cosmosis Design to aid both the survivors of the Hurricane Katrina through the Red Cross, as well as HIV/AIDS through Being Alive" which is a membership agency created and operated by and for people living with HIV/AIDS in West Hollywood.

Being Alive is a membership agency created and operated by and for people living with HIV/AIDS that engenders a sense of independence and determination in its members and build a healthier HIV-positive community by offering a range of emotional support, treatment education, prevention, advocacy, wellness and social programs.

The evening was held at hotspot Prey in West Hollywood. Prey is brought to you by the SBE Group, the same people who single-handedly transformed the Coconut Teaser into Shelter, the now infamous club on the Sunset Strip. Celebrities recently spotted at Prey have included the likes of Hotel Heiress Paris Hilton and Co, Lindsay Lohan, etc.,
Guests of the event included: David Cooley, Taylor Dayne, Erin Hamilton, Won G., Brian Toth, Katherine Bailess, Shawn Pyfrom, Wu Tang Clan, Charles Barkley, Brittany Brower, Omar Benson Miller, Tracy Schlor, Katie Chonacas, Yvette Lopez Garcia, Joleigh Fioreavanti, Burton from Survivor, Julia Verdin, Bambi Byrens, Michelle Broth, Dan Studney, & Lorenzo Bavadi & family among others.
The evening started with performance art/dessert pieces (dessert displays on stunning models who were drenched in crème fresh & topped with scrumptious desserts compliments of la conversasion set by dresser Mark Grey) & Champagne. Bobby Vagel of Floral Concepts (www.bvfloralconcepts.com) created floral masterpieces which left attending guests mouths ajar. The entertainment included a K-BIG 104.3 resident DJ. The live performances included, opening acts by Paul Bradley & Keely Williams who added hot local flavor. Performances continued with Erin Hamilton aka Carol Burnetts Daughter, who dedicated a moving rendition of "Dreamweaver" to WEHO Magazine's Publisher, Jamie Gooch. This was Ms. Hamilton's first live performance in over a year & definately was worth the wait. The evening's headliner was pop/rock diva Taylor Dayne. Ms. Dayne graced the crowd with her powerhouse performance, singing 4 of her hit songs with that voice that has indisputably defined the divine Taylor Dayne. Her performance of "Tell It to My Heart" was a highlight of the evening bringing the packed house to their feet singing along in celebration of a fabulous fete. When asked about the event Ms. Dayne responded by saying simply, the WEHO launch party was extraordinary" and Jamie Gooch is the best! Plus Avo, and the people from Gaudy PR couldnt have been more professional and accommodating."
The publisher of the magazine, Jamie Gooch, spoke of his thoughts on the night, "I got out of my limo with all nine of my talented and gorgeous West Hollywood friends & walked the red carpet feeling success. I entered the large gated doors of Prey into the party for the first time and "WOW"…the place was filled with people…what a tremendous turn out it was. I was feeling very excited and proud of the "team" that helped make it happen. It had exceeded even my expectations!" Nicole Hirsty of Cobalt Events who co-produced the event, spoke of her thoughts on the party, It was a wonderful experience to work on an event that brought together the best of West Hollywood!" Paul Bradley, who performed & also co produced the night said, "Its feels good to be a part of performing & co-producing an event in West Hollywood where artistry, music, & creativity come together in-sync & I would love to be a part of more events like this in the future..." Later in the evening, Publisher Jamie Gooch, continued to speak of his collaboration on the event with co-producers Gaudy Public Relations, Cobalt Events, & Cosmosis Design, "I am as good as the people I have surrounded myself with. Surrounding me are probably, if not the hardest working, most talented, and tenuous group of people whom I contribute the HUGE success of the Launch Party of WEHO Magazine".
