Made in USA Magazine Publisher & CEO, Julie Reiser Participates in Women Impacting Public Policy Conference 2005 in Washington D.C.

More than 325 women business owners and entrepreneurs from all 50 states attended the Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP)Conference in Washington D.C. from September 28th-30th this past week. WIPP is an organization that empowers women to let their issues be heard on Washington. Publisher & CEO, Julie Reiser is a proud supporter of the organization and represented her Magazine's views and her views as a woman business owner during the three day conference this past week.

Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) is a national bipartisan public policy organization representing over 500,000 women and minorities in business from all 50 states. Since 2001, WIPP members have testified before 150 Congressional Committee hearings and participated in numerous Cabinet-level roundtable discussions and economic summits to advocate for their issues.

WIPP is actively working on the issues and public policies that impact the bottom line profitability for women entrepreneurs. Some of the important issues on the agenda for this conference were: Affordable Health Care, Energy, Soical Security Reform, Tax Reform, and Telecommunications.

Made in USA Magazine is a national bipartisan Magazine that is a platform for Made in USA companies. Made in USA Magazine proudly supports US Manufacturing and business.

Publisher & CEO, Julie Reiser summarized her participation with her letter to WIPP's organizers. "We [Made in USA Industries proudly support WIPP's mission to educate, engage, and empower women entrepreneurs in the political process. It is so important for small business owners and women-owned businesses to let their voices be heard on Our Nations Capital. Our leaders need to be reminded what it is like to be on the battlefields of the United States business community."
