Remote Backup Systems, Inc. takes its show on the road to assist ISPs in establishing a new revenue stream through online backup services.

Memphis, TN (PRWEB) October 5, 2005 -- Remote Backup Systems, Inc. (RBS), developer and distributor of RBackup™ online backup software on the web at http://remote-backup.com, announced today that it is being showcased at the world's largest conference for Internet Service Providers. The event, named ISPCON, is scheduled for October 17th -20th 2005, and will take place at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California.

Attending as a guest of its recent partner the American Alliance of Service Providers, RBS cites the event as a primary step in an aggressive and long-term marketing program aimed directly at the ISP, SME and xSP markets.

"After a highly successful year in which we signed more than 30 ISPs and thousands of SMEs as licensees of RBackup, RBS is taking our show on the road." commented Tommy Gardner, Remote Backup Systems' Director of Sales and Marketing. "Spanning the three days of the show, we have already scheduled several offsite events and over 20 private online backup demos for ISPs of all sizes."

While the company counts many ISPs as licensees today, RBS now offers incentives for Internet service providers of all sizes, providing quick time-to-market with a custom-branded online backup service, while minimizing the organization's overhead.

"For Internet Service Providers, online data backup services present a win-win situation," Gardner continued, "ISPs can usually leverage existing bandwidth and hardware resources to offer remote backup service, which helps to retain their existing subscriber base and acts as an incentive and differentiator for attracting new accounts."
