(PRWEB) October 10, 2005 -- A new previously unreleased version of Moby Dick has surfaced. This 90 minute theatrical DVD stars Jack Aranson who was trained in the Old Vic. This authentic effort is closest to American author Herman Melville's soaring lofty prose. It is great acting.

"I'm the fates lieutenant under orders. I'd strike the sun if it insulted me," says Captain Ahab. "Ahab, beware of Ahab," says Starbuck, the chief mate. This is the story of a man possessed by revenge and how it destroys him and everything around him. Captain Ahab is one of the greatest characters in literature.

Great actors like John Barrymore and Orson Wells were drawn to this great tragic figure. This is the most authentic dialogue from Herman Melville's greatest American novel. This adaptation should be seen by every student and follower of great literature. It reads like the Bible with great insights. Jung said Melville discovered the subconscious before Freud. Simultaneously Moby Dick has just been placed in IMDB Website (Internet Movie Database) well known movie database. Moby Dick DVD is available for purchase on Amazon.com starting November 2005.

There have been several film versions of Moby Dick most of which dumbed down the beautiful language and deep thoughts of Herman Melville's greatest American novel. This was not really a sea story. It was the story of Captain Ahab and his need to destroy everything good around him in his desire for revenge. It shows the folly of doing evil to achieve good.
