New Idea Sparks Unique Holiday Gift

Hate gift shopping? Just say bucket ... bucket of beer that is! Try a "Beer Bucket" from Beers2You.com. They're sure to be a hit.

(PRWEB) October 11, 2005 -- Hate gift shopping? Just say bucket ... bucket of beer that is! Try a "Beer Bucket" from Beers2You.com. They're sure to be a hit.

Depending on the product ordered, the recipient will get six bottles of their favorite beer, themed novelty gadgets, Beers2You bottle opener and personalized gift card. Delivered right to their home or office. Everything comes packaged in a galvanized steel bucket and is shrink-wrapped to keep the contents in place. (Current shipping policies restrict delivery to California addresses only).

"With the holidays just around the corner, people are always looking for an original gift they can give, besides who really likes fruitcake?" says Todd Crone, who along with partners Wes Garlatz and Mike Funk, founded California-based Beers2You.com. "From trusty brand favorites, to imports and microbrews, the customers can choose from over 30 different varieties, and if they don't see the brand they're looking for, we'll find it for them." There are even golf and poker themed buckets to choose from. Gift certificates which they call "BeerBucks" are also offered on the site.

The idea for Beers2You.com arose one day when Crone, Garlatz and Funk, searched the Internet and yellow pages to send one of their associates a six pack of beer, only to discover no such service existed. At the time, they were working for OHD Creative Media, a thriving graphic design Costa Mesa firm. They even designed a newly patented bucket insert which locks the beer in place to prevent breakage during shipment. "We needed a way to protect the beer bottles during transit, while also maintaining the presentation," says Crone.

Already, they've got satisfied customers, such as Sandra Richards, of Granite Bay. She says, "Every time Valentine's Day rolled around, I would search and search to find the perfect gift for my husband. I knew he didn't want flowers, but what else could I get him? Beers2You.com was the answer to my prayers. It's like a flower shop for men!"

Richard Duncan, of San Diego, agrees, "I needed a gift really quick way to thank one of my buddies, but I wanted something cool and unique. I found your site on the web and presto, instant gift, thanks again guys."

Ordering beer buckets from the site is effortless, too, Garlatz explains. "The site is real easy to navigate. Just go to Beers2You.com, make a few simple clicks with the mouse and before you know it, the person you selected will be calling to thank you for sending such a thoughtful and tasty gift."

According to Funk, the buckets are also popular with businesses and sales professionals. "Most are looking for a good-humored, gracious gift to send to their clients, vendors and business associates. They're tired of sending another waxy fruit basket or corporate sports bag. We had one media company recently purchase 50 buckets to send out to their clients."
