The new V-6 Avanti is available in both the coupe and convertible featuring the Avanti signature exterior styling with full leather interior, four wheel disc brakes, 5 speed manual or automatic transmission, and a host of other options including a DVD navigation system.

The new Avanti engine is an impressive 4.0L V-6 which provides 210 horsepower and 240 pound feet of torque. The new 6 cylinder engine has technologically evolved in recent years. The horsepower and torque produced by the 4.0L is comparable to many of the V-8 engines of the last two decades. Additionally, the new 4.0L produces fewer emissions and has better fuel economy than the larger engine.
Avanti has built a legacy on being “driver’s car,” built for the individual who understands the difference, with performance and design as the most important criteria. The Avanti was originally created to be the savior for the Studebaker automaker in South Bend, Indiana in 1963. After the demise of Studebaker, Avanti has survived as an independent automaker building handcrafted motorcars for the better part of 43 years. The Avanti has most recently been built for the last six years by Avanti Motor Corporation outside of Atlanta in Villa Rica, Georgia. The company limits production of the Avanti to 150 handcrafted cars annually.
