(PRWEB) October 17, 2005 -- BasicTexasHoldem.com announced Friday the most unique player reward program available to online poker players. The program offers the highest awards on the web to date.
“Player Rewards” features two categories based on limits played so that even the smallest online player can look forward to the end of the month. Category A is reserved for players that play limits equal to or greater than 5/10. Category B will be for players that normally play limits equal to or less than 3/6. Qualification for the month end tournament is 1000 raked hands per month.
Those that qualify, will be invited to play in an online freeroll for the “players pool” which builds up over the month for each category. If not enough players qualify (10 minimum) for any month, that months “players pool” is simply rolled over and added to the following month.
In a normal month, the prize pool for Category A players should be in excess of $10,000. The prize pool for Category B players should be in excess of $3000. These amounts can be higher or lower depending upon the number of hands played in each category. As the program grows it’s player base, the higher amount of qualifying players each month will drive the “players pool” to new heights each month.
John DeBoer, CEO of BasicTexasHoldem.com said Friday, “ We studied all the different reward programs out there and think we have come up with something really unique for our players. Most programs only reward the bigger online players. In “Players Reward” a .50/1.00 player could walk away with more than $2,500 given a thirty (30) player field in Category B. With thirty (30) players qualifying for a Category A tournament, the winner could walk away with $12,000 plus.”
Visit BasicTexasHoldem.com (http://www.basictexasholdem.com) for further details and to join “Player Rewards”. The first tournament is scheduled for December 10, 2005 in which the qualifiers will be playing for the November "players pool".
