Finding Faith to See Vocational Dreams Flourish 3 Reasons Entrepreneurs Should Trust God and Pursue Their Hearts Desire

Don’t let fear keep you from pursuing a God-given dream. John Garfield, coauthor of “Releasing Kings for Ministry in the Marketplace,” shares biblical reasons for why you can trust God and move into your future with faith.

Kennewick, WA (PRWEB) October 19, 2005 -- Are you agonizing over whether or not your dreams of a new business, career, or creative project are “in God’s will?” Don’t let fear steal your heart’s desires and prohibit you from building something spectacular.

“If you sense God calling you in a new direction, GO!” says John Garfield, pastor and coauthor of Releasing Kings for Ministry in the Marketplace (www.releasing-kings.com). “As it says in Proverbs 3, ‘trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and he will direct your paths.’”

A successful engineer, Garfield is also the founder of two churches. Collaborating with Harold Eberle, Garfield wrote Releasing Kings for Ministry in the Marketplace to show how ministry can be taken outside the walls of the church and links vocation, ministry, and life’s purpose into one package designed to help people experience God’s blessing and begin to share those blessings with others.

“Trust God to keep you on track. If you innocently begin to move in a direction God doesn’t want you to go, He will let you know,” says Garfield. Here he shares three ways you can count on God to intervene and set you back on course:

1. Blessings will cease. If you stay connected to Him, God guarantees you will “bear much fruit” (John 15:5). However, wrong desires yield nothing without God’s blessing.
2. Discipline will occur. Whenever His children stray too far off the path, God lovingly disciplines them (Hebrews 23:4-6), but . . .
3. Relationship still exists. Even if you make a mistake, God will continue to speak to you and give you opportunities to respond. He will still reveal His heart and lead you in His will (Proverbs 1:23).
So what are you waiting for? Embrace God’s perfect love “which casts out all fear” (1 John 4:18), and move forward into your future with faith.
