Command Prompt, the PostgreSQL Company since 1997, announced today the immediate availability of Managed PostgreSQL Services as an option to Command Prompt’s standard annual support and remote management services plans.

(PRWEB) October 21, 2005 -- Command Prompt, the PostgreSQL Company since 1997, announced today the immediate availability of Managed PostgreSQL Services as an option to Command Prompt’s standard annual support and remote management services plans.

The remote Managed PostgreSQL Service include: Regularly scheduled proactive checkups (i.e. Weekly) Remote monitoring and evaluation of: system security, system performance, and PostgreSQL configuration. Survey of community for applicable updates and/or patches including notification service. Offsite backups of the database and environment can also be purchased.

We operate an Internet Vaulting service utilizing Mammoth PostgreSQL Replicator, and we also subscribe to Command Prompt's Managed Support services
In addition to Remote Managed Services, Command Prompt also offers products, custom development, support and consulting services to help our customers manage and maintain their PostgreSQL database and supporting infrastructure. Command Prompt can also custom tailor annual support plans to suit customers unique business needs, including: Email only Business hour, and our Premium 24x7 support.
