Bedminster, N.J. and Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) October 26, 2005 -- Syndication leader, uclick, in collaboration with Skava, a recognized leader in the development of mobile games, announced today that the popular number puzzle game, Sudoku (sue-DOE-koo), best known by avid USA Today readers, is now available to Verizon Wireless Get It Now® customers. This announcement marks the premier of uclick’s first mobile game application and is a significant leap forward in the company’s efforts to expand its growing catalog of mobile content.

Number-hungry Get It Now customers will find themselves addicted to the brain teasing Sudoku action as they try to beat the number puzzle challenge on their phone’s puzzle grid. With full access to a month’s worth of puzzles through the calendar archive feature, players will never be left without a game to play. The puzzles are updated daily Monday through Sunday and increase in difficulty over the week. To help measure a player’s performance, a personal high score feature tracks the player’s best time.

Bill Stone, vice president of marketing for Verizon Wireless, noted “We are thrilled to add uclick’s Sudoku puzzle game to our Get It Now line-up – from classic arcade games of the 80s to the latest craze, such as Sudoku, Get It Now offers Verizon Wireless customers innovative mobile gaming entertainment in the palms of their hands.”

“As Sudoku’s popularity continues to grow both in print and on the Internet, the game’s underlying complexity keeps making players come back for more,” said uclick chief executive officer, Chris Pizey, “Since we are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to introduce Sudoku to our growing puzzle fan base, Soduku’s availability on Verizon Wireless Get It Now service is the newest development in paving the way for more interactive games on mobile phones.”

Verizon Wireless Get It Now customers can purchase and download Sudoku from the getGAMES shopping aisle in the Get It Now virtual store for $2.99 monthly access or $7.99 for unlimited use purchase. Download charges for Get It Now applications vary and airtime charges apply when browsing, downloading and using certain applications. Customers need a Get It Now-enabled phone and Verizon Wireless digital service to access the Get It Now virtual store.
