Postcard Marketing Expert opens new printing press with a bang, themed around Elvis signifying that the regional printing industry is still alive and on an upward trend.

Clearwater, FL (PRWEB) October 27, 2005 -- Traditionally in the printing industry it is custom to name your press. PostcardMania, the fastest growing direct mail postcard marketing company in the nation, went a step further. In a staff contest to name the new press, the name that won the heart of the Founder and CEO, Joy Gendusa was “Elvis Press-ley”. In celebration of the new press and its signal meaning for expansion, PostcardMania held its Ribbon Cutting Party on October 20th, 2005 with an Elvis theme.

Over 150 guests attended the PostcardMania Ribbon Cutting Event that marked a new era in the printing industry – a renaissance from the downturn that the industry had taken earlier this decade. Closed printing plants and bankrupt printers were the backdrop that plagued Pinellas County until recently. PostcardMania’s explosive growth took the CEO down the only inevitable path – to own her own press and start printing the 1.5 billion postcards printed per year herself.

PostcardMania (www.postcardmania.com) had a press custom built by the well-known printing manufacturer, Kamori, who actually built her one that has no equal anywhere in the nation. Elvis Press-ley has the ability to print 1 color on one side, dry it instantly and flip the paper to print 4 colors on the other side – essentially all in one run. This saves time that adds up to more production being able to be done.

Due to the volume of growth of PostcardMania’s clientele base, the extra time saved by Elvis Press-ley is key. Having expanded over 282% in the last 4 years, the company is still on an uptrend and has taken this on to a whole new level. There are plans to hire more “maniacs” to better service their customers – more customer service reps, more quality assurance reps and more printing staff to help them do what they do best – service businesses in their direct mail marketing needs so that they grow and become prosperous. In fact these plans are coming to fruition with newly hired staff now bringing the count to 103.

Whoever said Elvis was dead wasn’t at PostcardMania’s Ribbon Cutting Party where Mayor Hibbard of Clearwater said, “Your (PostcardMania’s) future is so bright, I have to wear my shades!” and whipped on a pair of Elvis sunglasses he received as a party favor.
