Access London’s Inner Sanctum at the Click of a Mouse

Access All Areas : GlobalGuestList’s new website goes live.

(PRWEB) November 3, 2005 -- As the festive season gets under way, you will no doubt find yourself queuing in the freezing cold outside one of the capital’s latest hotspots trying in vain to get past the impenetrable red velvet rope and its clipboard-armed sentry. Indeed while trying every trick in the book to talk your way in, you will observe that for certain people who look no different to yourself, the gathering hoards part like the red sea and the velvet rope is ceremoniously lowered. Why? Chances are they either carry a certain charge card of the black variety or they have utilised the services of one of GlobalGuestList’s discerning lifestyle enhancers, a breed of creature whose vocation is to assist you in maximising the enjoyment of your leisure time. Sounds odd? Not when you consider in earning a living, we expend so much time and energy on the earning, why not leave it to an expert to focus on the living?

GGL is the brainchild of Alistair Graham, with a background in hotel and restaurant management, and former investment banker Baba Epega. It has operated its unique brand of word of mouth concierge service in London since the dawn of the new millennium which, in an industry where new entrants change with the seasons, makes GGL a veritable old timer. However, one key thing differentiating GGL’s concierge service from other organisations is its pro-rata charging methodology. Alistair explains “There are no joining fees, monthly charges or fixed term contracts – think pay-as-you-go.”

Yet access the new website and you will quickly realise that club guestlisting and restaurant booking are merely the tip of the iceberg as regards the full product suite that GGL has to offer. Other key businesses include events organisation, marketing and public relations, ticketing and travel. “As the world becomes more connected through technology and globalisation, GGL is at the forefront of bringing the finest in leisure and entertainment to individuals and brands worldwide”, Baba enthuses. “Our intimate knowledge of London’s leading venues coupled with our creative conceptualisation makes us specialists in high impact parties, both corporate and personal.” The list of satisfied clients is diverse and includes Richemont Cartier, British American Racing, De La Soul and Jamiroquai. GGL is the engine behind Courvoisier’s aspirational “&” brand and The Small Luxury Hotels of the World Concierge. Then there is above and below the line marketing for brands, venues and individuals – British American Tobacco, Beautifulpeople.com, London’s latest must-be-seen-in haunt AvivA at Baglioni Hotel, actors Scott Maslen and Shaun Parkes, to illustrate a few.

The launch of the new website is the culmination of five years spent researching, developing and finessing this concept. As for what the future holds, Alistair and Baba are in complete agreement. “The plan is to take and make the concept global, as the name suggests!”
