Macintosh Online Poker Players Get A 'No Download' Macintosh Online Poker Room and Casino

Download this press release as an Adobe PDF document.

Macintosh poker and casino users get a no download software made specifically for Macintosh poker and casino players.

(PRWEB) November 4, 2005 -- Poker players that use a Macintosh now have a free compatible software at the number #1 online casino and poker room, Pacific Poker. (www.Mac-PacificPoker.com)

This online poker room and casino developed this software with Macintosh users in mind. Currently there are only a handful of poker rooms and casinos that are Macintosh compatible.

The reason for online poker rooms not being Macintosh compatible is that most online poker rooms are Windows based. This of course causes a problem for Mac users. The quick play version that Pacific Poker (www.Mac-pacificpoker.com) has created is java based which completes the compatibility for Mac poker users.

This Mac poker room has one of the most popular games at their online poker room, No Limit Texas Holdem. This online poker game is gaining even more popularity with the showing of the main event of the World Series of Poker. With the first place prize pool of the 2005 WSOP reaching $7.5 million, many new players are entering the poker scene in hope to win big bucks.

Pacific Poker hopes to capture these new Mac poker players by offering them a $100 bonus. Offering a bonus is very typical with online poker rooms. Whether or not the bonus is easy to receive depends on the poker room. Pacific Poker players say the bonus is very easy to receive.

Many poker rooms have been contacted regarding whether their poker room will upgrade their software for Mac users. Almost all poker rooms suggest that they do not have immediate plans to change their software for mac users. The most popular one being Party Poker which still plans on keeping their poker room for Windows players but not Macintosh users. Mac users can play Party Poker by purchasing the Virtual PC software.
