Is it the most expensive item ever auctioned on the site at $170 million?

Fort Lauderdale, Florida (PRWEB) November 7, 2005 -- 4Yacht, Inc, a Professional Yacht Brokerage Firm with offices around the world, announces the offering of a 405’ Gigayacht on eBay.com. It could be the most expensive item ever auctioned on the site, as it’s valued at $170 million.

The auction is set to coincide with the start of the 46th Annual Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show which begins today, November 3, 2005. The 405’ custom-built MegaYacht will be auctioned off to the highest bidder on Ebay.com.

Scheduled for delivery in 2007, this one-of-a-kind MegaYacht (often called a “Gigayacht” because it dwarfs most megayachts) will be one of the top five private yachts in the world.

Designed by award-winning Naval Architect, Frank Mulder, of Mulder Design, http://www.mulderdesign.nl , the 405’ Gigayacht features such amenities as a 3,000 sq. ft. master suite on the main deck, which includes an office area, salon, cinema room, fitness room, and more.

The 405’ Gigayacht is outfitted with 10 multi-level VIP Suites with panoramic windows, with an additional eight guest cabins.

The yacht even boasts a helicopter garage in the bow with retractable elevator, as well as custom 55’ X 35’ pool off the aft deck

“The sky’s the limit as to what the new owner can put aboard. We envision that after the owner finishes customizing it to their tastes, it could exceed $200 million,” says Craig Timm, President of 4Yacht, Inc., the yacht brokerage company offering the MegaYacht for sale. “We run a strong advertising schedule and believe in the power of eBay as an additional marketing tool.
