IHRIM Hosts Webinar on The State of Workforce Technologies and Service Delivery Approaches – Insights from the CedarCrestone 2005 Survey

The State of Workforce Technologies and Service Delivery Approaches featuring “Insights from the CedarCrestone Survey,” will be the focus of an IHRIM webinar to be held on December 1. Presenter Lexy Martin, director of Research and Analysis for CedarCrestone, will discuss the results of the survey, which can help justify investments and prioritization of planned workforce technologies initiatives.

Burlington, MA (HRMarketer/PRWeb) November 8, 2005 -- To help HR technology professionals find out what’s going on with workforce technologies adoption, and how are they used in service delivery approaches, IHRIM is hosting a webinar on December 1, 2005 titled “The State of Workforce Technologies and Service Delivery Approaches: Insights from the CedarCrestone Survey.” This 90-minute program will begin at 12:00 noon Eastern Standard Time, and will be presented by Lexy Martin, director of Research and Analytics for CedarCrestone. This webinar is important for any HR professional or manager who needs to promote HR technology in their organization. Attendees receive a copy of the presentation with key charts to use for your justification or prioritization initiatives.

The CedarCrestone 2005 Survey requests respondents from organizations with more than 500 employees. The primary respondent is an individual at the intersection of Human Resources and Information Technologies – just like most IHRIM members. In 2005, respondents were also asked to request a business user partner to complete the survey and, where appropriate, their responses are highlighted to provide the HRIT community with guidance to fine tune their efforts.

Now in its eighth year, The CedarCrestone survey reports on adoption levels of over 20 human capital management applications and on service delivery approaches. It covers status and plans for both in-house and outsourced services delivery. A hallmark of the CedarCrestone Survey is the coverage of the value achieved by these applications and approaches. The results can help justify investments and prioritization of planned workforce technologies initiatives. The topics covered will include:
·   Applications in use, budgeted, and planned, including HR administrative systems, employee and manager self service, strategic applications (recruiting, employee development, performance management, succession planning and more), and measurement technologies.
·   Expenditures and budgets and results achieved
·   Service delivery approaches – a balance between high touch and high tech and three components of outsourcing (processes, technology, and people)
·   Software solution types and vendor choices
·   Barriers to deployment and factors of successful deployment
