People need to know that pest control is needed during the winter time to keep your new rodent roommates from moving in to stay. Natural pest control is an option, but so is basic common sense.
Brrrrrrrrrrrr! It’s cold out. We are on the verge of another winter coming on strong. Unfortunately, you aren’t the only one who knows that winter is coming. Mice, bugs, snakes, and other pests are looking at your house like a giant ski lodge in a blizzard. They know it’s warm in there. Pest control is the answer. “People need to know that pest control is needed during the winter time to keep your new rodent roommates from moving in to stay. Natural pest control is an option, but so is basic common sense.” said Jason Mattson of HowtoControlPests.com.

The winter can be a very harsh time. Northern areas of the US and Canada can see the temperature drop significantly for months at a time. With subzero temperatures, pests of all sorts will seek refuge in your home if they can.

In fact, even the Michigan Department of Agriculture’s website lists several steps that you should take to make sure that your home is protected from all sort of different creatures moving in for the winter. This is clearly an issue that they have dealt with before.

However, pest control doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to call the exterminator. The three best home pest control measures to take before winter are:

1)Make sure outside vents have screens on them.
2)Seal up cracks and holes on the outside of your house
3)Dispose of your garbage regularly and seal it up. This is a big one. Make sure it’s done.

Natural pest control There are all sorts of pest control products available to people who need to make their homes their own. And only their own.
