Bridging Culture Expands Korean Consulting and Training Programs

Bridging Culture (BC) president and CEO Don Southerton announced that the firm has expanded its Korean operations. Southerton notes, “A full range of BC’s popular training programs and consulting services are now available in Korea.”

Vista, California (PRWEB) November 15, 2005 -- Bridging Culture (BC) president and CEO Don Southerton announced that the firm has expanded its Korean operations. Southerton notes, “A full range of BC’s popular training programs and consulting services are now available in Korea.” Southerton points out that major Korean corporations are beginning to see the benefit in cross-cultural training for their global teams. In addition, an ever-growing number of western businesses with operations in Korea find value in their teams developing a better understanding of Korean business norms, practices, and customs.

The programs offered on both sides of the Pacific introduce team members to the respective business cultures, norms, and customs. BC training is designed to provide insights into the dynamics of Korean and American business, specifically relevant history, culture, and practices. Outcomes of BC programs include cultural alignment and improved productivity.

Bridging Culture is a California-based global firm, which offers training programs and consulting to help management and employees appreciate and bridge cross-cultural barriers, specifically between Korean and American firms. BC programs focus on optimizing communication and strategic alignment within organizations both in America and Korea.

Don Southerton is an advisor, consultant, and trainer for many of the top Korean-based corporations with business operations in America, along with major American firms that have ventures in Korea. Southerton focuses on optimizing teamwork, strategic alignment, and communication within organizations both in North America and Korea through cross-cultural training and education. Southerton is author of two books on entrepreneurialism. His most recent work centers on early western business development in late nineteenth century Korea.
