ITtoolbox Launches Contextual Advertising for Interactive Marketing Units

ITtoolbox Keyword Targeting matches display advertisements to contextually relevant keywords from community-generated content throughout the ITtoolbox network. Available for all Interactive Marketing Units, this enhancement allows advertising partners to target the most relevant users and increase ROI for their campaigns.

This enhancement contextually matches display advertisements to relevant keywords within ITtoolbox community-generated content. ITtoolbox clients can now receive greater ROI on their display campaigns through the unique advantages of online professional communities including engaged audiences and a high volume of highly-targeted content.

ITtoolbox Keyword Targeting is driven by the same technology that powers ITtoolbox Contextual Match, the successful white paper contextual matching engine that garnered an 85% increase in leads generated for advertisers in the third quarter of 2005. By applying this technology to interactive marketing units, including box units, skyscrapers, and leaderboards, ITtoolbox is offering its advertising partners a similar opportunity to increase the targeting capabilities and relevancy of display ads.

ITtoolbox Keyword Targeting expands contextual advertising beyond search engine results to include the full range of tools available to the IT community at ITtoolbox. For example, a user reading an ITtoolbox Blog entry on spyware will be presented with display advertisements that have identified "spyware" as the selected keyword.
