(PRWEB) November 28, 2005 -- Canadian Hot Rods & Classics Magazine & UltimatePerformanceCar.com today announced a strategic content partnership. This partnership will see the two media entities share content with each other and further strengthen their position as Canada’s leading performance and specialty car print and online publications.

Canadian Hot Rods & Classics Magazine is dedicated to the Canadian hot rod and classic car enthusiast. Based in British Columbia, the magazine offers a wide variety of material including car shows, car features, tech articles, editorials and more.

In just a few months, UltimatePerformanceCar.com has become the destination for the performance car enthusiast in Canada. The website provides daily news, car features, technical articles, and a huge online store that sells performance parts, tools, and equipment for virtually every type of classic or modern performance car.

This partnership will enhance the national presence of both of these publications and will allow each partner to share stories, features, and coverage of major events. Joseph Baptista, president of UltimatePerformanceCar.com sees the partnership as the future for online media. “As a new publication we’re constantly seeking content from all across Canada. Unlike large media outlets, we do not have the budget to send correspondents out all across Canada. Strategic partnerships like this one with Canadian Hot Rod & Classics allow us to offer more quality content while still maintaining a cost effective delivery system. This is the way new media will be generated, at the grass roots level.”

"For too long, the Canadian gearhead has had to rely on U.S.-based publications for his hot rod fix," says Canadian Hot Rods & Classics publisher, Terry Denomme. “With publications such as Canadian Hot Rods & Classics and web-based UltimatePerformanceCar.com joining forces, this is no longer the case. The Canadian hot rod scene is vibrant and strong, and by combining forces and sharing information, CHC and UltimatePerformanceCar.com can represent the Canadian scene from coast to coast. If you want to put your finger on the pulse of the gearhead scene in Canada - you'll pick up a copy of CHC or put UltimatePerformanceCar.com on your online favourites list."

The two companies are confident that this partnership will lay the foundation for success and that the biggest benefit will be the enhanced content available to their customers and readers.
