The Small Town Poker Tour (STPT), the world's largest amateur poker tour plans European Tour.

London, UK (PRWEB) November 30, 2005 -- The Small Town Poker Tour, has announced a new venue. "The amazing interest in the upcoming USA Tour has lead us to push up the date for the European Small Town Poker Tour Championships," said Mark Fracalossi Executive Producer. "The format will be the same as the US Tour, raise money for charity along the way and crown one champion. We are working on a few European sponsors and a television deal, as soon as we finalize the details we will have an announcement."

"We have been visiting possible sites the last few months. There are so many unique sites in Europe we can't wait to put this on film," Fracalossi added. The public may visit the Web site smalltownpokertour.com and find out how to nominate their town. "We are looking for unique small towns and local charities to play for". "We urge all people to email us with their ideas," Fracalossi stated.

The Small Town Poker Tour (STPT), the world's largest amateur poker tour has given tour duties to "The Division." Mark Fracalossi Creator and Executive producer of the tour stated, "The Division is the best fit for us, they are hands down the top poker event and marketing firm out there."

"Jeff Brausch CEO of The Division is known for producing proprietary marketing programs for many of the world's best-known brands. His expertise in event marketing will truly make the STPT a world class tour," Fracalossi added.

Matt Savage will ensure that the 'game' component of the Small Town Poker Tour is of the highest caliber. As the preeminent Poker Tournament Director in the World, Matt Savage knows how poker should be played," Fracalossi said. "They also have access to some of the worlds top players who will also advise on the tour," Fracalossi added.

The STPT will tour all 50 United States in search of America's number one amateur poker player. The tour will also be filmed for television. The television production duties go to Billy Frank and his award winning, Make It Happen Productions. "Billy is known for his unique style that makes him one of Hollywood’s prime talents," Fracalossi said. The STPT also plans Canadian and Asian Tours. "We are serious about making the STPT the finest amateur poker tour in the world and the partnership with The Division brings us the top people in the business of poker, and our vision to reality, what else can I say I am elated to have them on board," Fracalossi said. You can find out more about the STPT by visiting www.smalltownpokertour.com.

The STPT is as simple as the title states, blending everyday people with the exciting game of Texas Hold'em and donate money to charity. "The money we raise will stay local, it's a chance for all poker players to come and give something back, and a chance to be the STPT Champion, our goal is the find the best amateur player in the world" Fracalossi stated.

The tour will be not of the flashy set productions you see on television. "Our show and tour is unique. The finals will be in a casino, but the rest of the show is a tour of the world," Fracalossi stated.

The Tour will add a new grass roots look to the worlds fastest growing card game Texas Hold'em. The Poker Tour will be different from the rest, "We put more on the people aspect and feature unique locations." It will also raise money for charity along the way. The Tour comes to town everyone who lives in that country is invited out to play. "We are going to take poker back to where it all started", Fracalossi said. "Everyone views the shows now with their high stakes, and flashy sets, but the roots of Poker games can be found in every small town in the world. This is a chance for all those who have the love for the game to give something back," he added.
