Oberman, Assistant Director of the Transportation Security Administration, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, will join the firm as the senior analyst focused on homeland security, transportation and other related industries. Oberman announced that he will leave TSA next month.

At TSA, Oberman heads the Office of Transportation Threat Assessment and Credentialing, where he is responsible for the agency's programs to identify known or suspected terrorist threats seeking access to the transportation system.
