Business.com, the leading b2b search engine, today announced Todd Sims has been appointed Vice President of Buisness and Corporate Development, and Amos Schwartzfarb has been named Vice President of Sales and Client Services.

Santa Monica, CA (PRWEB) December 7, 2005 -- Business.com, the leading search engine designed and organized for business, today announced two senior level promotions: Todd Sims has been appointed Vice President of Business and Corporate Development, and Amos Schwartzfarb has been named Vice President of Sales and Client Services.

In his new position, Sims will play a critical role in establishing strategic relationships across advertising, product and network partners, as well as managing existing key partners. Sims will be supported by all departments in pursuit of major partnerships.

“Todd has been a driving force in the company, and his extensive involvement with successful Internet start-ups will serve us well,” said Jake Winebaum, CEO and founder of Business.com. “Todd has very strong relationships throughout the Internet, media and advertising communities which will prove very valuable in his new role.”

Under Sims prior leadership as Vice President of Sales, Business.com experienced strong financial and operational growth. Sims joined from eCompanies LLC, where he was Vice President and General Manager-in-Residence, providing management expertise to portfolio companies. He has a strong background managing online businesses, products and strategic relationships for top-tier Internet companies including ESPN.com, NBA.com, NFL.com and NASCAR Online.

As the new Vice President of Sales and Client Services, Schwartzfarb will focus on increasing efficiencies by segmenting Business.com’s broad client base by demographic and behavior profiles, and implementing sophisticated tracking services to enhance conversion measurements for clients.

“Business.com’s success is due to its unrivaled value proposition – directly connecting business marketers to a qualified audience of decision-makers,” said Winebaum. “Amos’s proven track record in sales and client service and his understanding of the Internet marketplace will be instrumental as we continue to grow our client base."

Prior to joining Business.com, Schwartzfarb spent 5 years at Yahoo! HotJobs, where he was responsible for the organizational development and expansion of the Strategic Account Management division and developed corporate-wide customer service strategies.

Both executives will report directly to the CEO.
