New Internet show features ways divorced parents can create holiday harmony.
Portland, Ore. (PRWEB) December 6, 2005 -- Stepfamily Talk Radio -- a new internet radio show that features interviews with divorced parents plus commentary from professionals about the parents’ often difficult predicaments -- this month provides tips for helping divorced parents create holiday harmony for their children.
For the holiday show, co-hosts Lisa Cohn and Jann Blackstone-Ford interview Mary Jane Gore, a mom who’s separated from her husband, but celebrates Christmas with him and the kids. What’s more, Gore and her “ex” live in the same house on different floors—for the sake of their kids. Former family law attorney and author Brette Sember provides ideas for creating a sense of togetherness and family over the holidays.
In other featured interviews, Cohn and Blackstone-Ford interview Rita Hardin, a divorced mom arrested for attending her son’s ballgame when it was her ex-husband’s weekend with the kids. Attorney Stacy D. Phillips, author of “Divorce: It’s All About Control” explains how parents can avoid such divorce wars. Stepfamily Talk Radio will soon begin offering resources for divorced and remarried parents, including teleseminars and telephone support groups for stepparents.
