Uncott.org battles the pettiness and silliness of Bogus Boycotts.
SEATTLE, WA (PRWEB) December 12, 2005 -- Bogus Boycotts take the energy of good people and focus it on petty, pointless pseudo-problems. They're clutter and static that harm the signal-to-noise ratio in the national debate.

- Marijuana legalization activists rally Colorado college students to boycott beer.
- A "Boycott Pepsi" e-mail circulates, protesting the firing of spokescelebrity Kanye West... even though Pepsi never fired him.
- A pro-life group claims pro-choice groups tried to bankrupt them with repeated requests for their boycott list of over 100 companies, so now they charge $15.75 for it.
