Sacramento, Calif.(PRWEB) December 14, 2005 -- Crash the Machine, an emerging modern-rock band based in Sacramento, is the exclusive guest in an hour-long live interview with ArtistFirst Radio on Thursday, December 15. The interview begins at 7:00 p.m. Pacific.

Listeners can log onto www.artistfirst.com and interact with the band live via email with the show’s host. Songs from the band’s full-length album 4 a.m. will be featured throughout the interview.

“We now have fans from more than 22 countries around the world, and this interview gives us an opportunity to connect with our audience regardless of geography,” said Jon Murray of Crash the Machine. “One of our primary goals is to break down the barriers between band and audience, to allow our fans to be directly involved in our music. This interview with ArtistFirst Radio will allow us to connect band and audience in a way that is convenient and accessible to anyone, anywhere.”

ArtistFirst Radio is a 24-hour Internet radio station streaming all types of music from largely undiscovered artists, and the station features live interviews with independent bands, authors, and personalities.

Crash the Machine’s album, 4 a.m., is available worldwide for purchase and download via online distribution from iTunes, TowerRecords.com, Yahoo! Music, and CD Baby. More online outlets are expected in 2006. Listeners are encouraged to visit and register at www.crashthemachine.com to receive future Crash the Machine news, events and performance updates. All who register at their website will receive a free mp3 from the band.

Note: Crash the Machine’s electronic press kit is available on request.

About Crash the Machine
This Sacramento, California modern rock band's music moves through the sonic light and darkness of the human condition. The band name is not about anarchy or violence. It is about re-embracing our humanity and thinking for ourselves. We are bombarded every day with messages on what we should look like, who we should associate with, what we should wear, and "what's in it for me?" -- versus focusing on our individuality and potential. By thinking for ourselves, we Crash the Machine. Visit online at www.crashthemachine.com.
