Santa Clara, CA (PRWEB) December 23, 2005 -- Radiient Technologies, a Silicon Valley based startup company, has launched its new line of home entertainment loudspeakers. The product line incorporates advanced technologies and manufacturing, and also demonstrates the company’s philosophy of bringing unique architectural design elements and ease-of-use to the living room.

“Our starting point for all of our designs is very simple: what home entertainment products would my family like to look at and use, every day?” stated Jano Banks, Radiient cofounder and President of the company. “So we start by observing what products customers buy and use today, and then listen to their thoughts and experiences using those products. Next, I actually interview my family, relatives, and friends, and gather their ideas and feedback. We use all of this information to drive our design team and manufacturing partners.” Mr. Banks is the co-inventor of HDMI, the new High Definition Multimedia Interface technology, seen in many new products now being brought to market by all major consumer electronics companies.

The first loudspeaker product line from Radiient was the end result of this process. Three distinct model families, named Hyperion, Calypso, and Europa, are targeted for high-quality home theater and high fidelity music reproduction. The product line features cabinet designs and finishes intended to tastefully complement a wide range of home interior decor.

“Our goal is to design truly great-sounding products that look good in any room, without really standing out or making themselves noticed”, stated David C. Buuck, Radiient CEO and cofounder. “We want our products to be somewhat understated, and yet beautiful to look at. In a nutshell, our approach is to make products that are attractive to both your eyes and ears. Finally, they have to be very easy to set up and use, and bring enjoyment every day.”

The Radiient team is designing a number of other new and groundbreaking home entertainment products, in addition to the new loudspeaker line. The new, yet-unannounced products are scheduled to be showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show in January 2007, one year from now. The company is composed of a team of industry veterans from Apple Computer, Cisco Systems, Shutterfly, Silicon Image, DVDO Inc., Anchor Bay Technologies, AlphaSmart, TZero Technologies, and other local companies. The team includes acknowledged industry experts in software, hardware, industrial, and product design. Overall, Radiient team members have authored more than 30 granted U.S. Patents in the fields of consumer electronics, personal computers, and PDAs.
