A lawsuit has been filed and is being handled in the Federal Courts of Denver, Colorado (Case #1:05-CV-02337-WDM).
Remember Bob Dougherty? He’s the man who says he “gotglued” to the toilet seat at Home Depot two years ago. Bob made the decision to go public with his embarrassing experience, and stand up to this giant company by suing them for what he calls their failure to come to his aid. Bob says his health and safety was jeopardized in their Louisville, Colorado, store.
Gotglued.com recently announced the launching of a web site in honor of Bob Dougherty and his courage of sharing this embarrassing and horrific experience. We are pleased to accept and forward donations to help Bob defray the legal costs. His attorney Mark Cohen has agreed to handle this lawsuit on a contingency basis. There are still significant legal costs that need to be addressed and are very expensive for Bob who is a retired Navy Vietnam Veteran with limited financial resources. Bob plans to donate a portion of any proceeds he might recover after his legal expenses are paid to the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association.
