Centerfield Technology Receives IBM'S ServerProvenŽ Certification for delta/TRACKER - an iSeries Navigator Plug-in for Status/Trending Analysis

Centerfield Technology today announced IBM Server ProvenŽ Certification for its delta/TRACKER tool. delta/TRACKER helps iSeries administrators and DBAs explain why their system or application suddenly slows down and provides instant iSeries status and trending reporting features to IT managers.

Rochester, MN (PRWEB) February 2, 2005 -- (www.centerfieldtechnology.com) IBMs ServerProvenŽ Certification was designed by IBM to help its customers easily identify complete solutions for their business-critical e-business needs. The IBM ServerProven program is limited to IBM PartnerWorld members, who must complete a rigorous testing and evaluation process before their offerings will be certified. All certified products are validated to install quickly, start up easily and run reliably with IBM servers.

Delta/TRACKERs certification puts it alongside Centerfields other ServerProvenŽ tools: database/ASSESSMENT, insure/INDEX & ANALYSIS, insure/MONITOR & insure/MONITOR for OneWorldŽ, disk/HUNTER, CDROM Studio and insure/SECURITY; all designed to improve performance, insure IT maintains control of systems and data and inspect applications to quickly diagnose and solve application problems.

Generally available in December 2004, delta/TRACKER has already been used successfully in the Restaurant & Hospitality, Manufacturing and Distribution marketplaces. The newest in CTIs iSeries toolkit, delta/TRACKER offers a growing set of data collection and reporting features to help IT personnel analyze needed information without having to write their own tools to collect, manage and query that data. Built-in data collection, data management, analysis and reporting functions of the product are intended to help IT administrators and management to monitor, control, and communicate about iSeries operational status in new and better ways. Most importantly, each report is intended to be actionable. In other words, the information delta/TRACKER makes available provides not only status/trending statistics; but also can be acted upon as necessary.
