The Centennial Vision of Anatolias Young Leaders Movement impressed Turkish prospects in the tri-state area
(PRWEB) February 3, 2005 -- As a second round of the meeting series dedicated to share the Centennial Vision of Anatolias Young Leaders Movement (www.agl.org.tr) with the young Turkish prospects, an informative session was held in Turkish Center in New York City on January 29, 2005 by the Anatolias Young Leaders Movement, an NGO whose ultimate purpose is to reach a "Powerful Turkey in 2023" (by 100th anniversary of Turkish Republic).
Tuna Beklevic, founder-president of the Movement, talked briefly about Anatolias Young Leaders Movement, and then answered the questions.
His main point in his speech was the insufficient lobbyist activities for Turkey in USA. In his diligent speech, he pointed out that there was a very bright, energetic, enthusiastic, and dynamic Young Turkish population in USA which has not been utilized to form a stronger lobby for Turkey, and to take necessary actions against all the attacks coming from various parties. This lobby would be beneficial in forming strong cooperation and establishing close friendship ties between Turkey and USA. At this point, the Movement has been planned to be a common ground that would pave the way for turning the Young Turkish potential into power for the benefit of Turkey.
Beklevic gave special importance to explain the unbiased, non-partisan structure of the Movement that makes them more focused on serving Republic of Turkey better. In this respect, they are due to concentrate on education and local development activities.
Having attracted an audience from all age groups, participants discussed long about this vision and possible contributions they may make in the future, right after the presentation and Q&A sessions were over.
