The world's most popular and authoritative RFID news site served up 1,289,008 pages in January to 121,280 visitors.
(PRWEB) February 7, 2005 -- RFID Journal, the world's RFID authority, announced that it topped 1 million page views in January. The site had 121,280 unique visitors who visited the site, on average, 2.5 times each during the month. Unique visitors per month more than doubled from 59,273 in January 2004.
"This is a remarkable achievement for a publishing company that is just three years old," said Mark Roberti, founder and editor of RFID Journal. "It shows that there is tremendous interest in RFID and that our readers value the high-quality journalism we provide."
RFID Journal was founded in March 2002, long before most media companies had even heard of radio frequency identification. The Journal's annual executive conference is considered to be the most important gathering of RFID end users in the world. RFID Journal LIVE! was sold out in 2003 and again in 2004. RFID Journal LIVE! 2005 will be held in Chicago, April 10 to 12.
RFID Journal launched in September 2003 the world's first print magazine dedicated to RFID and its many business applications. The magazine is now published bi-monthly. RFID Journal University was established in July 2003 to provide educational seminars for executives and those overseeing RFID implementations.
RFID Journal recently relaunched its Web site, adding new features and tools to give visitors the information they need to take advantage of RFID technologies. Among the new resources are the Career Center, Find a Vendor and Request a Quote tools. The site also features a live glossary that lets readers click on a highlighted RFID term in a story to get a definition of that term.
With our continuing commitment to providing unbiased, in-depth information and our new cutting-edge features and tools, we look forward to continued growth in the traffic on RFID Journals Web site," said Roberti.
