Salt Lake City-based franchise helps todays busy people serve their families homemade dinners 12 nights a month by offering fun, productive and easy cooking sessions where customers can prepare a dozen family-sized dinners that theyve made themselves in just two hours.

Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) February 4, 2005 -- The January 2004 issue of Entrepreneur Magazine includes the 26th edition of the publications famous, annual Franchise 500 list. Included on the list this year for the first time (though not ranked due to its small size) is My Girlfriends Kitchen.

The original My Girlfriends Kitchen location opened in the Ft. Union area of Salt Lake City in November, 2003. This corporate-owned location remains a thriving retail operation in addition to serving as a demonstration and training location for new franchisees. My Girlfriends Kitchen plans more franchise expansion throughout 2005.

My Girlfriends Kitchen is a meal self-assembly business that offers todays solution to the age-old dinner challenge: all the satisfaction and feeling of accomplishment of preparing 12 homemade meals, without all the grocery shopping, chopping, slicing, dicing, menu planning and cleanup. Each family-sized dinner serves 4 to 6 people, and meals are planned for variety of ingredients, tastes and cooking methods to keep the experience fresh, new and fun. The menu changes completely every month, with popular favorites repeating periodically throughout the year. Complete details are available at mgfk.com.

My Girlfriends Kitchen was created by Marcia Hales and Jennifer Jackenthal, two real-life girlfriends in Park City, Utah who held their first cooking sessions in February,2003 in Jens home kitchen.

My Girlfriends Kitchen is one of the leading companies offering meal assembly franchises. Meal assembly is a skyrocketing business trend currently sweeping the country including other franchisors such as Dream Dinners and Super Suppers.
