Harlem Wizards Take on Good Samaritan Hospital All-Stars on February 26 - 4th Annual Benefit Game Set for 7:00 PM at Suffern, NY High School

The Harlem Wizards professional entertainment basketball team will perform in Suffern on Saturday, February 26 at 7:00 PM at Suffern High School. The performance will include a game against the Good Samaritan Hospital All-Stars. The event will benefit Good Samaritans Chemical Dependency Unit.

(PRWEB) February 10, 2005 -- The Harlem Wizards professional entertainment basketball team will perform in Suffern, NY on Saturday, February 26 at 7:00 PM at Suffern High School. The performance will include a game against the Good Samaritan Hospital All-Stars, chosen from the hospitals staff. The performance promises family fun for all, and will include comedy, basketball tricks and audience participation.

Wizard team members include former NBA and CBA players, and college standouts. Team members specialize in trick hoops and alley-oops," including comic antics, trickery, dazzling ball handling and rim rocking slam-dunks. The Wizards will sign autographs after the performance.

The Harlem Wizards was founded in 1962 by New York-based sports promoter and manager Howie Davis. The team has delighted audiences worldwide, and has played in over 5,000 games in the United States and abroad.

Tickets are available for advance purchase at $10 for adults and $8 for students or seniors by phoning (845) 368-5214 or 5249. Tickets are available at the door at $12 for adults and $10 for students or seniors. The event will benefit Good Samaritans Chemical Dependency Unit.

Good Samaritan Hospital is part of the Bon Secours Charity Health System, which also includes St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick, NY and Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, NY. Additionally, Bon Secours Charity Health System provides the services of a Certified Home Health Agency, two long-term care facilities, an assisted living and adult home facility and several other medical programs.
