The Betting Exchange Industry is Growing Even Bigger

The betting industry did shake with the advent of the betting exchange industry. The punters betting patterns and habits rapidly changed with the ability given to bet against the outcomes of certain events.

(PRWEB) February 12, 2005 -- The betting industry did shake with the advent of the betting exchange industry. The punters betting patterns and habits rapidly changed with the ability given to bet against the outcomes of certain events, always denied by the sportsbooks. With that, a new era began, changing the betting industry forever and even changing the name of the sportsbooks" to traditional sportsbooks" to differentiate from the new ones.

Changes are also being made on the mentioned new betting exchange industry, as well. Being new, there is a lot where to expand and to develop. While its market is growing in a daily basis, with an increasing number of traditional sportsbooks clients changing to the new betting system and even a lot of traditional sportsbooks themselves using it in order to makeup from the bets accepted from their clients, the demand is increasing proportionally.

It was on this context that Silvas Global Entertainment, SA, a company settled in Costa Rica and formed by European entrepreneurs with several years of experience as punters, developed and published a new betting exchange in the following URL: http://www.betfit.com. Their present goal is to attract the clients of the traditional sportsbooks that understand the way betting exchanges operate and that are willing to benefit from their advantages. They are also aiming the already installed betting exchanges markets and, off course, new online punters.

We had an interview with the executive director of Betfit.com, Ricardo Silva, who explained that a betting exchange is a facility where costumers place bets between each others on the outcome of a certain even. It is like in the real world where we bet with someone about the outcome of a certain football game, for example (one of the customers bet in a certain outcome and other costumer bets against it). The costumers are not betting with the fixed odds offered by a traditional sportsbooks. On the contrary, they are negotiating the prices of their own bets and, thus, obtaining better odds! With betting exchanges, costumers have more profits, more excitement and more fun!

Betfits executive director mentioned that in the middle of 2005 a new, more powerful and featured version of the Betfit.com betting exchange software platform will be released allowing multilingual capabilities, multi-currency betting, among others features. Some of those new features were never seen in this industry and will revolutionize the way it operates. The actual version of the Betfit software has an user-friendly interface and was launched in the first day of the Chinese New Year of the Rooster, in February 9, 2005.
