21st Century Locks, Ltd. is pleased to announce that they have teamed with Microlatch Pty Ltd to introduce Secure RF Wireless Fingerprint Access Control to the U.S.A.

Columbus, OH (PRWEB) February 15, 2005 -- 21st Century Locks, Ltd. is pleased to announce that they have partnered with Microlatch Pty Ltd to introduce Secure RF Wireless Fingerprint Access Control to the U.S.A.

Biometric access control in itself is not unique but integral to this Australian engineered and manufactured solution is an element not available from anyone else. Incorporating fingerprint technology this new system is wireless and does not need a card to be activated making it the first of its kind. All you need is your finger!

The MicroLatch fingerprint reader has the database housed in the same unit that can be easily installed wherever it may be required.

Mr. van Gils, VP Sales & Marketing 21st Century Locks, Ltd says that, "A wireless fingerprint access system has many advantages over other systems. They are cost-effective as the scanning modules cost less enabling replacement of Keypad or PinPad units in all current applications."

"Biometric, and specifically fingerprint technology, surpasses KeyPad and card based systems because they don't require the user to remember a PIN or to use a card which can be lost or stolen. With no cards to buy and administer businesses costs are greatly reduced making the MicroLatch system a very cost effective solution for secure access control".

The MicroLatch PAC-18 has a wireless fingerprint unit combined with an electronic door strike and an RF Receiver to create a very secure and simple, stand-alone access system.

"In addition to the PAC-18 users can select from a full range of components that allow them to tailor a system which is suited to their particular needs" said Mr. van Gils. "The MicroLatch components can easily be integrated into 'Smart Home' solutions and can also be used to control boom gates, garage doors, cabinets and alarm systems etc."

"We believe electronic access and identification integrating wireless fingerprint will be the most common form of door entry and access control in the near future," said Mr van Gils. "Over time keys and cards will simply disappear."
