Execfocus.Net Introduces WEBSAT, the Answer to Googles New Rule Limiting Ads

Download this press release as an Adobe PDF document.

ExecFocus.Nets WEBSAT technology allows websites to promote specific products and services online without being blocked by the new Google rule on advertisement.

(PRWEB) February 16, 2005 -- Recently Google announced the implementation of a new rule restricting the number of ads a company can run using the same keyword and pointing to the same root domain. For example, Google will no longer allow the following ads to run side by side because they share the same root domain mystore.com":

Buy DVDs at Mystore.com
Low prices and Free Shipping over
$25. Affiliate.
www.mystore.com (pointing to http://www.mystore.com/dvd/productname.asp)

Buy DVDs on Sale
Free fast shipping! Huge selection.
Order now & save. Low prices. Aff
www.mystore.com (pointing to http://dvd.mystore.com/dvd/productname.asp)

Under the new rule, Google will show the ad with the highest click rate and block any other ads pointing to the same URL

According to Google, this rule has been implemented to enhance web surfing on its search engine. But while the rule will certainly limit the number of ads pointing to the same domain and using a similar keyword or key term, it is also predicted to diminish traffic to web sites by 5-30% depending on an advertisers reliance on affiliates.

For these websites, ExecFocus.Net has a solution. ExecFocus.Nets WEBSAT technology allows websites to promote their products and services online without being blocked by the new Google rule.

WEBSAT (or Websites Satellites) creates product-specific web sites that allow customers with multiple products or services to create mini" sites. Each mini" site promotes just one product or category of product. These mini" sites have unique, dedicated URLs which are viewed by Google as being independent of the main domain name.

Weve used WEBSAT very successfully to help many of our clients increase traffic to their sites," explains Jean Maurice Touboul, CEO of ExecFocus.Net. WEBSAT allows ads to point to multiple URLs for the same product and using the same keyword. In our view, its an excellent and legal answer to the new Google rule." Touboul also notes that WEBSAT improves website rankings on many search engines, including Google.
