Mens lifestyle website receives over 65 million page views and 7 million unique visitors.

Montreal, Quebec, Canada (PRWEB) February 16, 2005 -- AskMen.com, the leader in online mens lifestyle content, made a milestone announcement today with the release of record traffic numbers for the month of January 2005.

On the heels of a strong finish to 2004, with over 17 million unique visitors to the site in Q4, a good January was made even better with the immense popularity of several new content features such as the Video Clip of the Day, Tech Invention of the Day, as well as content from new partners such as HowStuffWorks.com and Nerve.com. In addition, the release of the 2005 edition of the Top 99 Most Desirable Women on January 25 did enough to not just surpass previous highs for overall page views and unique visitors for the site, but smash them.

says Ricardo Poupada, President and Editor in Chief of AskMen.com. We put a lot of pressure on ourselves to grow traffic and January shows we are heading in the right direction. Our efforts in 2005 will focus on solidifying our position in the mens lifestyle space and becoming everyones No. 1 destination for male-oriented content outside of sports and finance.

The impressive page view and unique visitor totals cast a shadow on some other milestone numbers for the month. In addition to the 7 million unique visitors to AskMen.com, there were also 9.6 million total visitors (with duplicates) for January, over 1.2 million bookmarks and just shy of 1 million searches on the site. Page views per unique visitor and average time per visit also saw significant increases over the previous month.
