Lightyear Alliance Top Leadership Team

An interview with one of LIghtyear Alliance's top income earners, Senior Vice President Ben Sturtevant.

(PRWEB) February 19, 2005 -- When choosing a Network Marketing program to be a part of it is very important to consider the success level of the organization you are joining. We had a chance to interview Ben Sturtevant, a Senior Vice President and top income earner with Lightyear Alliance.

Ben Sturtevant has been in MLM for almost 11 years. He began with a company called Excel Communications where he was one of the top 150 income earners in the world with that company. After spending 6.5 years with Excel he decided to leave the industry and focus on managing his financial investments. In November of 2006 he decided he wasn't going to miss out on the next billion dollar giant. That's when he joined Louisville Kentucky based Lightyear Alliance. "When I left Excel people told me I was absolutely crazy, leaving an established, proven company, to join a ground floor Network Marketing company." As it turned out Ben was smarter than many others. A year later, Excel, a 16 year-old billion dollar company was dissolved by their parent company after a bankruptcy.

"When I looked at Lightyear I saw a company with a different philosophy - designing their company around the success of everyone, not just the 'heavy-hitter.' The thing I love most about Lightyear is that I am paid not to recruit but to help support and develop the people on my team." Ben has taken that philosophy and put it to work. His organization has thousands of people in it after just a short period of time. "What's more exiting to me than the number of people on my team, is the amazing numbers of people who are experiencing success in their business."

According to Ben, the main reason he left Excel and didn't join another company like them such as FHTM, ACN, or 5LINX, was because they all had the same philosophy as Excel. "When I joined Lightyear Alliance I didn't want to put the people on my team in a situation where the company cared more about their profits than the success of the average person."

"When people look at a business opportunity they usually make a serious mistake, the same mistake I made 8 years ago when I joined Excel. The only questions I asked were how much money would I make and how big of a business would I build. Unfortunately that's not the right question. I should have asked, how successful can the average person be in my organization. At the time it didn't occur to me that it didn't matter how successful the corporate company was or how unique the product was - if you don't have a program where the average person (the person that makes up 99% of your company) can be successful then you will never be able to build a true residual income."

After just a short period of time Ben has one of the largest and fastest growing organizations in Lightyear Alliance. "Is Lightyear perfect, absolutely not. Is it easy, no. There is nothing in this industry that is. However, Lightyear is an incredible program where people can expect a reasonable amount of success from a reasonable amount of effort!"

Ben's vision for the future is very bright. "I see Lightyear Alliance changing the Network Marketing industry forever. No longer do you have to hype people up, attend rah-rah rallies to be successful. Lightyear Alliance and our leadership team is revolutionizing the home business industry and our mission over the next 5 years is to help as many people as possible position themselves for success in their business within Lightyear Alliance."
