Organizational and Personal Transformation is at the heart of "Running The Corporate Rapids," a new book released today by John R. Anderson, founder of The Glowan Consulting Group.

San Jose, CA (HRMarketer/PRWeb) February 24, 2005 -- Organizational and Personal Transformation is at the heart of "Running The Corporate Rapids," a new book released today by John R. Anderson, founder of The Glowan Consulting Group.

The book incorporates a combination of researching American business history, hands-on experience in operating businesses, and consulting with corporate leaders, resulting in a unique "how to" approach to the transformation process.

"Rapids" leads readers through the complex and sometimes frustrating, process by recommending a specific formula for the work. This book is aimed at executives, managers, and employees involved in adapting their businesses to the constantly changing global environment.

Mr. Anderson says of the book, "In researching the book, one fundamental question emerged: 'Why do bright, well intentioned people, given good tools, routinely fail to execute effectively?'"

The answer was found in the human behavioral aspects of the people. Things like being present and emotionally available to do the work, being engaged and having a real connection to the business enterprise were virtually absent in many, if not most cases.

"Rapids" provides some of the answers and identifies many more of the questions.

This is not a new theme. What differentiates this work from that of previous publications is that it is written from the perspective of someone that has been "in the trenches" as both an operational CEO and a Business Consultant.

Mr. Anderson's 20-year operating career in the high technology industry combined with 15 years consulting with corporate leaders provides him with in-depth knowledge and unique insights into the corporate culture transformation process.
