"LOST" Fans to Find Each Other in L.A.

Fans of the hit ABC Television series "LOST" are preparing to make a voyage of their own this spring to Destination: L.A., where they will celebrate the show and honor co-creators Damon Lindelof and J.J. Abrams by participating in a charity fundraiser to benefit the Children's Defense Fund of California

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) February 24, 2005 -- Fans of the hit ABC Television series "LOST" are preparing to make a voyage of their own this spring to Destination: L.A., where they will celebrate the show and honor co-creators Damon Lindelof and J.J. Abrams. Tickets are now available at www.destinationlaparty.com. The three-day event will take place April 15-17, 2005, at the Renaissance Hotel at Hollywood & Highland. The pinnacle of the weekend will be the charity fund-raiser on Saturday, April 16 from 7pm – 12am which will benefit Abrams favorite charity, the Childrens Defense Fund of California.

Destination: L.A. will give all fans of "LOST" an opportunity to meet one another and celebrate their appreciation for the show. All of the cast and crew, including the series producers, have been invited to attend this charity event.

The weekend begins on Friday, April 15, with a cocktail party in the Departure Lounge to welcome everyone to Los Angeles and get them acquainted with their fellow "LOST" fans. On Saturday, April 16, there will be a gala charity fundraiser in honor of the show and co-creators Lindelof and Abrams.

The highlight of the Saturday evening event will be a silent auction, filled with items donated and signed by members of the "LOST" cast and crew. Proceeds from the auction and donations made by fans will benefit the Childrens Defense Fund of California. The Childrens Defense Fund is an advocate for the nations children, and works to ensure that every child has health care, educational opportunities, and a chance to thrive in a healthy environment.
