All About Barbra Magazine Celebrates 20 Years Of Publishing

All About Barbra has been publishing for 20 years and one of its readers is Barbra herself! Full of news, interviews and rare pictures, it is 100% dedicated the first lady of entertainment.

(PRWEB) March 1, 2005 -- All About Barbra magazine is about to publish issue number 63 of the longest publication dedicated to superstar, Barbra Streisand. "When I first started this publication way back in 1985, I never imagined it would run so long," says Editor, Lynne Pounder. "It is, and has always been put together by a group of dedicated admirers of Barbra Streisand. It is very much a group effort. Only problem is, we're spread all over the world. Our staff members reside in England, Scotland, America and even Australia. How we did this 20 years ago, I don't know, but with the Internet – well it all comes together so much quicker."

While such a publication can't compete with the speed of the net, Lynne sees its validity differently. "We maintain a constant record," she explained. "Collecting each issue builds into a competent reference library of this artists amazing career."

Packed with articles, interviews, news and pictures, All About Barbra boasts a world-wide readership. Published on high quality stock, 28pp and completely dedicated to Streisand, it has a loyal reader base and gains new readers weekly.

More over, even Barbra herself reads it. "I was invited back stage after her Wembley concert," Lynne explained. "Barbra was amazing. It was very late and although tired, she took time out for us to chat. She thanked us for doing such a wonderful job and for seeking and printing the truth. She was very kind, and has even helped the magazine. On occasion she has given us autographed items for competitions. As as a result we have raised thousands for Charity. She has also given us pictures and even answered our readers questions."

"People have it wrong about Barbra," Lynne added. "She has been really good to us, when she wasn't obligated."

The magazine continues to publish which, as it's Editor added, "Is real testimony to a great artist."
