Viatical and Life Settlements. Emerging Tools in Financial and Estate Planning

American Viatical provides invaluable assistance to Insurance Agents, Estate Planners, Wealth Advisors, CPA's and Attorneys. The message here is that American Viatical will help the client directly, or work with the advisor, as appropriate to the situation.

(PRWEB) March 2, 2005 -- "Everyone involved in financial and estate planning should guide their clients. We are pleased to help those advisors, and we do not compete with them for any investment or insurance opportunities," said Morris Heins, American Viatical's President. "40 years ago we were in retail securities and insurance, but this company no longer offers any form of investment."

When there is an opportunity for replacement insurance, we defer to the servicing agent" he continued. "Quite often, we will process cases where the servicing agent is not to be found, or whose Broker/Dealer will not presently allow his participation. In one example, we replaced a $300,000 policy for an 80 year old female with another very close in premium cost, and the Settlement was substantial enough to provide funding for many years. In another, we brokered the sale of a $1.25 million Survivorship policy, and then used the proceeds to pay for a replacement $2.5 million policy. Once the new policy was in force, we sold brokered the sale of the other $1.25 million policy. An agent of the same carrier as the old policies was able to close the new policy. Everybody won."

The message here is that American Viatical will help the client directly, or work with the advisor, as appropriate to the situation. "Many advisors simply do not have the capacity for handling the most difficult Impaired Risk cases, but we do, and are glad to share our resources."

As for the upper market, "When the Insured can qualify for at least $5 million of coverage, there are three distinct Premium Financing programs available."

American Viatical is particularly interested in helping advisors whose Broker/Dealers need more information, in order to understand the importance of the front-end portion of the secondary market. "We absolutely do not handle any re-sales, usually known as Viatical Settlement Investments."
