‘3D Face Synthesis Tools Head for Game Developers Conference Launch

Genemation, the Manchester based technology start-up, headed by ex Psygnosis & Sony PlayStation Europe senior exec, John Bickley, will launch two upgraded ‘face synthesis tools, based on its patented ‘computer vision technology, at the upcoming Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco, March 7-11th (booth #859).

Genemations tools are primarily aimed at supporting digital artists and programmers in the video games and post production sectors.

With increasing realism (courtesy of ‘next generation video games consoles), and the requirement to populate ‘next gen environments with significantly increased numbers of realistic animated characters and ‘extras,(leading to more complex and expensive production teams and budgets),‘middleware is set to play an increasingly central role in production pipelines..

- Enables users easily, and in a matter of seconds to create 3D animated heads from 2D images.
