Radio Facts Magazine's 10th Anniversary, May 2005

Urban radio publication celebrates and explores a decade of bringing news and information to urban radio and music nationwide and the industry's future!

(PRWEB) March 3, 2005 -- The legendary Radio Facts Magazine will produce the monumental 10th Anniversary issues in May of this year.

Radio Facts Magazine started as a voice for urban radio announcers and program directors to talk about the issues that were often not discussed in open forums within the industry.

"This issue will be the best one that we have ever produced. I have been looking forward to this issue for the past five years," said Radio Facts owner and former programmer and announcer Kevin Ross. "This issue will take a look at all that we have done over the last 10 years and we are all very excited about that but it will also explore the future of radio and the music industry and the impact that the Internet will have on it. The comparison is like night and day!"

The anniversary issue will take a look at how urban radio has evolved from 1995 to 2005 and beyond. We will cover everything from changes in programming to formats, content, restrictions, creativity, salaries, corporations, satellite and more.

"We never expected to see the music industry change like this but we are excited about the future and we will also explore that and show the industry how there are actually more opportunities than ever looking right at us!" states Kevin Ross.

Radio Facts is well aware of how marketing, promoting and selling product has now become the job of the artist and how they are now forced to be the entrepreneurs that Ross feels they should have always been. "We will talk to a few celebs in this issue about the subject of marketing. We have already completed one interview with a popular rap artist that is especially interesting as he explains the Changing Faces of Music and Money, a story in the anniversary issue.

The issue will also have a special section dedicated to independent companies and corporations and the impact that they will have on the future of radio and the music industry as well as film, production and a few others industry related areas.

One of the areas that we are most attracted to and exploring for this issue, is the battle that is about to take place between commercial, satellite, Internet and podcast radio formats.

There will be a paper issue as well as an online version and a place for industry related businesses to post their businesses in a classified section.
