Jason McCallum brings five years of professional experience to the Aqua Matrix family. His work has been instrumental in both the casting and talent agent sides of the business. His professional work has been conducted nationwide, mainly working with many recognized industry leaders in California and New York City.
McCallum has worked with one of the top casting directors in the industry, Louis DiGiaimo, whose credits include The Godfather, The Exorcist, Rain Man, Thelma & Louise, Donnie Brasco, and Gladiator. In addition, he also spent time working in the commercial department of the bi-coastal talent agency, Don Buchwald & Associates. Later, he worked for Paladino Casting, where he cast for feature films, print advertisements, national network commercials, industrials, and music videos.
A few of his extensive list of film castings include She Hate Me," directed by Spike Lee, P.S.," directed by Dylan Kidd, starring Laura Linney, Gabriel Byrne and Marcia Gay Harden and State Property II," directed by Damon Dash of Roc-a-Fella Records. McCallum assisted in casting national network commercials and print ads for Nickelodeon, JCPenny, Marshalls, and GlaxoSmithKline, to name a few. His talent in casting was also used for music videos by major recording artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Avril Lavigne, and Smashmouth.
