Why Should We Worry About Household Chemicals?

Download this press release as an Adobe PDF document.

Are you a stay-at-home-mom or dad? A 15-year study found that parents that stayed at home had a 54% higher death rate from cancer than those who had jobs outside the home. What can you do? Switch to product brands that do not contain harsh, industrial chemicals. Karajane.homebizexecs.com has a solution to help decrease the amount of toxic chemicals in our homes. http://karajane.homebizexecs.com

(PRWEB) March 9, 2005 -- HomeBiz Execs is a four-year-old award winning organization that is affiliated with the number one wellness company in the world. The company is highly committed to providing a healthier environment for people and their families. Along with that, they offer a lucrative compensation plan for those who wish to earn a replacement income or generate a second stream of income, just by helping others enjoy a healthier lifestyle. They offer non-toxic, chemical free products that are meant to replace the products currently being used in households across America. The goal of HomeBiz Execs is to get these products in every household so as to provide a healthy atmosphere for people as well as the environment.

Did you know that there are more than 3 million poisonings every year? Household cleaners have been determined to be the # 1 cause of poisonings in children. Asthma has also increased by 600% since 1980. Many of the household products found today have been identified as triggers of asthma (Dr. Joyce M. Woods, Create a Safer and Healthy Home Know Your ABC's Indoor Pollution). The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) analyzed 2,983 chemicals used in personal care products. The results are as follows: 884 of the chemicals were toxic, 314 caused biological mutation, 218 caused reproductive complications, 778 caused acute toxicity, 148 caused tumors and 376 caused skin and eye irritations.

Check your cleaning and personal care products. You might find some of the following chemicals. Beauty bars can contain formaldehyde and Butylated Hydroxytoluene (BHT, both known carcinogens. Baby shampoos may have Quaternium 15, FD&C Red 40, known carcinogens and causes of dermatitis. Some laundry detergents contain fiberglass. This causes skin irritation and itching and sodium silicate, which can be corrosive and may cause burns to the eyes and tissue, as well as mouth, throat and stomach if swallowed. The list goes on and on. According to the EPA, toxic chemicals in our homes are three times more likely to cause cancer than outdoor airborne pollutants. It is much less expensive to eliminate the cause of the illness than to treat the symptoms.
