When you call the number you will be given a seed, by punching buttons on your cell phone, you will water and cultivate the SEED into a mature tree, co-creating the Virtual Tree forest. There are 6 varieties of phantasmagorical trees to choose from, designed and created by Napoleon Brousseau.
The DNA Tree. The Ancestor Tree. The Tire Tree. The Meat Tree. The Green Stamp Tree. The Newspaper Tree.
This first version of Seed will evolve from a public co-created art installation of Virtual Trees to an actual Re-Forestation Project in the future whereby proceeds from participating in Seed with your cell phone will be used to plant real trees, in real live actual 3D re-forestation projects Worldwide. Seed can be viewed on line at www.seedcollective.ca You can put a new spin on that old Zen chestnut. When a seed falls in the forest, everybody hears.
