(PRWEB) March 15, 2005 -- The Webs Biggest (www.websbiggest.com) search engine now includes their Editors Choice directory.

The Editors' Choice directory features reviews of the top four million websites written by more than 60,000 volunteer editors. The reviews are arranged in almost 600,000 categories. More than 2.1 million see and see also references help you quickly find related categories.

The directory is available in more than 70 languages. In English the directory is available in hundreds of regional editions for different countries, U.S. states and cities.

In additional to the millions of website reviews, the directory has more than 300,000 articles on every imaginable topic.

A search of the directory will display a list of websites, categories and articles related to your search terms.

Like the Webs Biggest search engine, the directory lets searchers change the descriptions of familiar websites. Since search results are based in part on website descriptions, this lets individual searchers change everyones search results.

The company stores all past descriptions of websites in a database so other users can undo or correct descriptions. This makes it the worlds biggest wiki". Wiki is software that allows users to collectively author web documents.

If searchers cant find what theyre looking for in the directory, with just one click they can repeat the search in the Webs Biggest search engine.

The search engine has licensed the entire Whois database of more than 40 million domain names, enabling them to search almost every website in the world. Other search engines rely on hyperlinks and manual submissions to find and rank websites. As a result, in a recent study done by the company, other search engines missed a third to more than half the websites in the Webs Biggest search results.

The search engine lets users sort their search results so the most popular websites display first. Search results include the Webs Biggest Popularity Rank." The popularity rank comes from monitoring the web surfing habits of millions of people, with the number of visits each website receives counted and compared to all others," says company spokesperson Paul Aunger.

A picture of each websites appears when searchers pass their mouse over any URL.
