There are those who claim to be leaders—then there is Athena Costas who leads by example through establishing a legendary career in the home-based business industry.

Born in New Jersey, Athena moved to Puerto Rico in the early 1970s. Being the eternal entrepreneur, Athena sold tropical flowers to large hotels until 1989 when Hurricane Hugo destroyed everything she owned. Always the survivor, Athena moved down to the city where she created a curriculum for a nail course on acrylic nails for schools of cosmetology in Puerto Rico. She then taught the nail course, as well as owned and operated two large beauty salons. In 1996 her father became very ill and she moved back to New Jersey to take care of him. In 2002, after working as a lease manager for the Ford Motor Company, Athena was introduced to an income opportunity out of Arizona whose focus was Self Improvement.
