The 21-year-old producer and remixer Russ Castella was arrested last week for alleged class-1 misdemeanor of reckless driving in Greensville, Virginia.
(PRWEB) March 31, 2005 -- The 21-year-old producer and remixer Russ Castella was arrested on 1:20 AM Friday, March 25th for alleged class-1 misdemeanor of reckless driving in Greensville VA.
He was clocked traveling 105 in a 65 MPH zone of I-95. Castella was arrested on the spot and booked in Southwest County Jail where he spent approximately 7 hours. Police impounded his Mercedes S55 rental car. He was released at 9 AM after posting a $2,800 cash bond from a business partner, Dmitry Shamis.
Castella is to appear for trial on June 23rd and is facing a maximum of up to one year in jail, and/or up to $10,000 in fines, and/or six demerit points on his license for alleged violation of section 46.2862 C14.76 of the Virginia Code. Castella declined to comment on the incident.
Russ Castella and Bliss Entertainment, a label he owns, have been hitting a large amount of bad luck occurrences in the months of February and March. Three weeks ago, company representative Sandra Weyant stated that the companys websites have been attacked by a hacker. They are shut down even still to this day.
The company has also had problems with missing business bank amounts and an upcoming audit investigation by IRS for questionable corporate tax practices, she said.
