Erie, PA (PRWEB) April 6, 2005 -- Too Friends, a two-woman company that provides personalized books for children, is one of very few companies boasting that its founders met in elementary school. When Too Friends recently rolled out its new website (www.too-friends.com), owners Lisa Coburn and Annie Rutkowski took their business – and their friendship – to the next level.

Lisa and Annie have nurtured their friendship since the first grade, when they lived across the street from one another and shared dreams, secrets, and vacations – plus a mutual interest in pugs. "As young girls, we aspired to be private investigators," says Annie. "As adults, we aspire to be entrepreneurs and business leaders in our community." In August, 2004, as a natural evolution of their friendship and entrepreneurial aspirations, they began Too Friends, Inc.

Personalized books are prewritten stories in which some details – such as name, hometown, and friends – are customized for a particular reader. Once the details are inserted, the books are printed and hand-assembled. While personalized books have been around for a while, Too Friends products – which include books based on DC Comics as well as a variety of new and old children's tales – are very different from early books, which tended to be cheaply made and badly written. Moreover, while many companies sell personalized books as a sideline, Too Friends is a specialist, and that means they offer a wider selection – over forty products at present – and more personal service than many other firms can provide. As an added bonus, Too Friends offers lower prices than many of its competitors. In fact, prices start at less than two dollars for a personalized holiday letter.

Too Friends sports a new attractive and user-friendly website created in partnership with up-and-coming newline Creations (www.thenewline.com). newline, like Too Friends, is building its reputation by providing world-class products combined with personal service. Its growing stable of clients includes Fortune 500 companies and small companies alike.

The women of Too Friends are now "two friends, two husbands, one daughter, and four pugs." Add to that one savvy web-management partner and a home-grown, top-notch product line, and youve got one exciting friendship.
